Candace Parker finally got her WNBA title ring

Candace Parker finally won her first WNBA championship last year after nearly a decade in the league, and now, she finally has her ring.

Parker and the Los Angeles Sparks had their ring ceremony Friday before beating the Washington Mystics, 99-89, and while everyone was excited to continue celebrating the team’s first championship since 2002, the gigantic smile on Parker’s face was the highlight of the pregame festivities.

The Sparks were originally schedule to have their ring ceremony before their season opener last weekend against the Seattle Storm, but the team made the wise decision to postpone it until the next game because Parker – along with Jantel Lavender and Essence Carson – was still playing overseas.

As the WNBA Finals MVP, Parker especially deserved to formally receive her championship ring, and it was a wonderful moment.
